A Day in the Life of a Hot Dog Bell Employee: A Survival Guide

Working at Hot Dog Bell is not for the faint of heart. The fast-paced environment, combined with the constant barrage of weird requests from customers, can be overwhelming at times. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

“We think that even the most questionable foods can be delicious.”

Here’s a day in the life of a typical Hot Dog Bell employee:

8:00 AM – Arrival
You arrive at work feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day. You head straight for the break room to grab a cup of coffee and check your phone for any important messages. And, of course, you can’t forget to wear your favorite Hot Dog Bell shirt (available in our online store) to show off your loyalty and endless devotion for the company.

8:15 AM – Opening Up
It’s time to open up the store! You unlock the doors, turn on the lights, and flip the sign around to “Open.” You take a deep breath and prepare yourself for the chaos that is about to ensue. And don’t forget to grab a cup of coffee with our Hot Dog Bell mug (also available online).

9:00 AM – First Customer
The first customer of the day arrives. They order a hot dog with chili, cheese, and bacon. No problem! But then they ask if you can add some pickles on top. And by “pickles,” they mean the kind that are made from fermented cabbage and have a strong pungent smell. You politely decline their request and explain why they are wrong and disgusting.

10:30 AM – Lunch Rush
The lunch rush is in full swing! The line is out the door, and you’re working as fast as you can to keep up with the demand. Customers are ordering hot dogs left and right, but some of them are asking for weird things like “hot dog water” or “a side of dog food.” You try your best to accommodate their requests, even though they seem a little strange.

1:00 PM – Crying Time
You take a short break to grab a snack and air out your feet. You sit down in the back room and try to relax for a few minutes before you have to go back out there and face another wave of customers. And don’t forget to wear your Hot Dog Bell sticker (available online) on your laptop or water bottle.

2:00 PM – More Weird Requests
Another customer asks if they can get their hot dog wrapped in bacon. No problem! But then they ask if they can also get a side of ketchup made from the blood of a rare animal. You politely decline their request, explaining that you don’t have any of that on hand. . . yet.

3:30 PM – Closing Up
It’s time to close up the store! You take a deep breath and prepare yourself for the rest of your day. And don’t forget to grab another cup of coffee with one of our Amazing Mugs (also available online) before you head out.
